Well my surgery IS in a week and someone asked me yesterday if I was nervous. OF COURSE I’m nervous! And I was trying to block that out of my mind, was doing really good but then voila here I am again with my humaness taking over. I must remember the verse I had on my "Antique Flowers" Header about how God cares for the wild flowers, ya that’s right!, THE WILD FLOWERS, go figure hey? Who ever thought? Even after we step on them going on walks they some of them anyway seem to bounce right back up as if nothing happened don’t they? I love walking in nature, feeling the dew of morning grass against my bare legs in the summer I haven’t done this since I was at camp many moons ago.

I need to remember that God loves this wild flower and will help it bounce right back up from the surgery whether it’s minor or not, I will still get cut open with a camera inserted and a breathing tube will be put down my throat.

Did you know that ER is one of the shows I watch? Well, watching that does make me so nervous too. I also watch HOUSE, another hospital show, and it too opens my eyes to all those scary things that happen in the hospital. I don’t fear the Dentist as much as I fear the hospital, weird I know, considering I had a moment where I envisioned myself working in one, but THAT was quickly evaporated by reality. I think I could handle working in an animal hospital though, why? Well, the animals are helpless, they can’t even talk and that is what I work best with. Because as many of you know, I don’t talk much as it is, unless I know you really well-then I’ll open up like a snap dragon being pinched.
