I’ve been exercising a lot the last couple days, so I’m hoping the scale will smile at me again real soon. Since my treadmill is still out of commission, I’ve been running on the spot or in circles around our living room when I run, which the doctor prescribed everyday. And another workout the doctor recommended was "tubing". It reminds me of weightlifting without the weights. I actually really love it! It’s so hard, but GREAT. And another thing I’ve been doing is 100 ab crunches on the exercise ball for more of a challenge, since I was already up to 1000 without a ball. I started the ball crunches yesterday and already today, they were feeling so much more easier. Yesterday, they were tough! I have also tried to do push ups off the ball like this website shows, but that takes A LOT of balancing on the ball and THAT I need to work on still. So as the Doctor stated building muscles actually burns more calories than cardio I have decided to focus more on tubing than on running now. I still run, but it’s not my focus. I can’t wait till my tummy is firm again! That is my number one goal right now, but it’s so boring to concentrate on one area, and like The Biggest Loser show training tip said today, you can’t just tone up one area at a time, you need to do a FULL BODY workout in order to tone even just one area.
