Enough!

I never thought in my wildest dreams that losing one hundred pounds was going to take THIS long. I’m glad I started off thinking ten months (my goal was to lose 100lbs in 10months) because who knows if I would have been as motivated to lose. But I can officially say I’ve lost 50lbs in 12 months now. Even though I don’t stay at a 50lb loss. Of course the weight is still teetering around that mark, but the good news is: I’M HALF WAY THERE!

This I am SO excited about. I feel like I’m on a high. So thrilled and grateful for getting this far, that I wish to help you too to lose weight (if you need to of course). But I wouldn’t want to come across as preaching, so you would need to ask me how I did it. Although, like a Preacher, there are just some things you CAN NOT keep bottled up.

Like for example: I’m half way there!!! And I must say Jesus has been helping me a long the way. I’m trying to honor him with this body. This body IS His temple, right? In other words: His work of art!!! He created the woman to be beautiful and healthy. He created us all to be healthy.

So please remember that you don’t need TOO MUCH food. Eat slowly, enjoy the food you eat, and STOP when you’ve had ENOUGH.

"Enough" how does dictionary.com define this?

1.    adequate for the want or need; sufficient for the purpose or to satisfy desire: enough water; noise enough to wake the dead.
–pronoun
2.    an adequate quantity or number; sufficiency.
–adverb
3.    in a quantity or degree that answers a purpose or satisfies a need or desire; sufficiently.
4.    fully or quite: ready enough.
–interjection
5.    (used to express impatience or exasperation): Enough! I heard you the first time.

so there you have it.
We MUST be patient when we eat-eat slowly.
We MUST exhibit self-control when we’ve had enough-stop putting that food that tastes so good into your mouth
We MUST savour the goodness-thin feels better than fat tastes
and above all
We MUST be joyful-even when we plateau
Why?
Because there IS a time for everything!

Isn’t it neat how practicing the Fruits of the Spirit coincide with the beautifying process of honoring our God with, the temple of the Holy Spirit, our body?
