We came to the conclusion that it is all in the attitude - if you are too worried about either looking good to impress people or too preoccupied with exercising your freedom to dress like a bum - either way it is your attitude that gets in the way. We should go to church dressed modestly and respectfully and then not think another moment about what we are wearing but focus on God. Now if I could just do that...! I hope you feel better soon D.
