Tofutti

1st July, 2007

Today I cooked again. For lunch, I made a ham veggie soup from scratch with a large salad w/ homeade dressing. Here is the dressing’s recipe in case you want to try it. NOTE: It’s non-dairy and uses soy products instead.

Tofutti Dill Dressing

1/4C Spike
1/4C dry dill
1/4C red pepper flakes
1Tbsp Tofutti Plain Cream Cheese
1cap Kirkland Tuscany EVOO

Oh and these measurements are good for 3 cups of green leaf lettuce.

If you try it–please let me know what you think of it, thanks!

Have you ever heard of the Tofutti products before? If you can’t have dairy I highly recommend them (they taste just like dairy but have absolutely NO DAIRY)…you can buy them at any Save On Foods in their organic fridge section. Did you know that there is still dairy in most Soy cheeses??? There is in fact, because Casein is a milk protein and it is found in every soy cheese I’ve seen, except this one. I gotta go, the canada day fireworks are on!!! ttyt
