Today Goomba and I went on an hour and half long walk. It was great, we walked in the rain so it was cool and refreshing.

We stopped at a playground for Goomba to play, the sun came out and dried up all the rain for just long enough for him to play there for a half hour. While there he met a friend and they talked about Nintendo DS. It’s so nice when you have so much in common with someone else that you can befriend them instantly hey? While at the playground I actually saw one person I knew too who I hadn’t seen in a while. She now has a 1 year old and is 5 months pregnant, WOW! She asked if I was going to have kids soon I said "NO WAY, not for another 3 years, hopefully"…she said, "ya I worked 10 years full-time and having kids, even just one is way harder." I said, :"ya I guess, because it’s 24/7" She said, "yes". It was a good visit, too!
I caught Salsa sleeping in the oddest positions today. Isn’t she just beautiful?? She’s Egyptian Mau and Siamese cross.

And for supper today I made a really tasty sweet veggie soup with carrots, celery, onions, teriyaki and soya sauce. On the side I fried up some x-lean hamburger meat with ginger powder and red pepper flakes and that was used to fill lettuce leaves. And those lettuce wraps were a huge hit, Goomba loved them!!

Good to have time walking and playing. God is good to stop the rain long enough for him to have some fun. Okay the cat – if I slept that way I wouldn’t be able to walk for a week. Really cute pictures.
