So today I went on a beautiful walk with my Aunt Monica…I love her! She has always been like my ‘other’ Mom growing up. I could always call her up when I needed to know something because she was a home school Teacher and I thought she was so smart!!!
We have gone on many walks and I’d say the most exciting time was when we walked past a bobcat just sitting on the edge of the sidewalk…literally centimeters from my left leg as I walked past it staring at it, as we approached it I said, "Wow that’s a nice looking statue but who puts it on the edge of their lawn like that??" As I whisped a breeze past it’s nose with my leg and stared at it I saw it’s eyes follow mine as we kept walking our normal moderate speed. WE BOTH SAW IT’S EYES MOVE!!!
That’s when we turned our heads and looked straight ahead in shock as we kept walking like nothing happened…then when we were further enough away we looked behind us, and it was GONE!!! YIKES! Then we looked at eachother in total amazement and shock as we said, "it was REAL!" "not a statue afterall!" YIKES!!! I’ll never forget that day! HAHA..
Today we enjoyed the tree lined path next to a beautiful creek, a bunny hopping across our path and baby ducks and geese frolicking next to us as we briskly walked on our way!!! It was a good walk and talk! Thanks Monica!!

Wow, did you take a picture of the bobcat? — that is sooo neat. They don’t usually come out into the open like that!!
Sounds like you had a lovely walk… I think every girl needs an ‘aunt’ that is like a second Mom..or older sister… I had one too.
Have a lovely day…….

Sounds like a good time. I can’t believe that bobcat was real! Yikes! Have a great weekend.

When you said, “bobcat”, I thought of machinery. We have bobcats to dig up the earth and someone recently told me they were going to use one to make up the veggie garden at school.
I think I need to do a google search on the bobcat to learn something new about them.

My daughter and mother-in-law and I were driving in Scotland after midnight in a snow storm when we saw a HUGE statue on the side of the road of a stag.
Then it moved…and we all we chanting “don’t jump, don’t jump…” as we drove past, if it had jumped in front of our car we would have been smashed to bits!
Wild life, you’ve got to love it, preferably at a distance!
And I like your new blog look too by the way!
