Wow! I’m waiting to hear back and to hear more… Because as you can imagine I’m just a bit skeptical, thinking it’s spam… of course!
*Added after this post was published…
Babysitting thing sounds a little shady. As a rule, I won’t bother responding to someone for babysitting who can’t spell check / proof read their e-mail. “Plz” makes me even a little more skeptical! Not to be “snooty” but it kind of give me a glimpse of what kind of person they might be.
Plus she’s short on finances, does she expect you to babysit for free?? Even if she promises to pay you I wouldn’t hold your breath. :-/
Oh Erika, it wasn’t for babysitting. She wants us to ADOPT her baby girl !!! hehe sorry if it came across that way ;)
Also, is this dog lady a breeder? I’d ask for references if she has any. Any other people who she has recently sold to. since you can’t go SEE the dog and it’s environment b4 buying. Just a suggestion ;-)
Those are very good things to consider…THX!
What an adorable puppy! What breed is that?
Maltese
Hello Demara–what a lovely name! Thanks for visiting the mayqueenmems. I was interested to see your personality type–I’m an INFP, too! Deeply feeling and emotional people need their space, apparently. :)
About the puppy…how cute!
I’m looking forward to checking out your weightloss blog, too, as it’s something I’m working on myself!
same type?!?! WOW! that’s so cool!!!
You definitely threw me for a loop when I saw this one on my dashboard! Very cute puppy!
The puppy is so gorgeous! Just be careful buying over the internet – I bought a husky X malamute called Meeka after seeing her pictures on the internet hoping she and Sandy would be company for each other while I was at work.It cost a fortune having her shipped to me from interstate and the whole situation was a disaster – she had behavioural issues that I obviously couldn’t pick up from photos and I wasn’t able to keep her, not to mention the months of work we had to put into Sandy as she was traumatised too. It then cost me a lot of money trying to re-home Meeka so my advice would be to think twice! There are so many lovely dogs in shelters who would make a wonderful companion, why not try that instead?
As for the adoption, I’m sorry but I think it’s a scam. If someone was in difficulty and genuinely needed help wouldn’t they go through the appropriate channels rather than emailing random people? It’s possible I’m just cynical but I’d be wary if I was you.
I’m sorry if I sound all doom and gloom – I don’t mean to – but I don’t want you to get messed about!
Both of them sound way too good to be true. Be very careful. I know of people who have been scammed when trying to get a dog and the email is totally a scam.
