My Typical Monday
2nd November, 2009It was a typical Monday today for me, despite the daylight savings.
I woke up, had breakfast, went to work, had brunch with vitamins, ran my errands, made a quick lunch, relaxed watching a couple of my favourite shows Design Inc. and Income Property on my favourite channel HGTV. Then, I went to work some more. Watched a little more TV, then worked some more, and now I am winding down for the evening.
I can’t wait to crawl into the 4 layers of blankets that I have covering our bed…two of them fleece…love fleece in the Winter don’t you? Not sure it’s Winter yet, but it sure is beginning to feel like it more and more each day out there.
I did drive today with the window down…while wearing my fleece jacket :) I was hot… I’m pretty sure my body is fighting off a nasty bug. I’ve been taking my lots of vitamins. And when I feel a fever coming on -like right now- I take a Tylenol asap…Hoping it’ll help my body fight it out.
When was the last time you drove with the window down?

We’ve started a tradition…for every Canucks hockey game we eat pizza.
The way I like my pizza from Dominoes…cheeseless…BBQ sauce..no tomato *cause I’m allergic* so no marinara…with pepperoni, hamburger, extra green peppers, mushrooms, and onions. On hand tossed crust. multi-grain is best though! Dominoes doesn’t have it yet, as an option online.
What is your favourite pizza?

Oh and to drink I like water with every meal (the camoed canteen is my water bottle, that holds 3 cups-I try to take it everywhere! emptying it at least 3 times a day!!) or Walmart’s Great Value brand OJ with extra pulp.
How do you ensure you’ve drank enough water in a day?
How do you ensure you’ve drank enough water in a day? ….well, I haven’t been but I’m trying to drink more!
Hey Demara,
I find it too cold to drive with the windows down. It will have to wait until we get warmer weather again.
IYou’re allergic to tomatoes?! I couldn’t live without tomatoes! My favorite pizza is the simple tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese, but I like it only baked in a wood oven and THIN crust!
Thanks for shopping Great Value. We’re glad that we can help you stay healthy. We love the feedback on our products. If you haven’t joined the Great Value Round Table, here’s your official invite. theroundtable.surveys.com. Hope to see you there. =) Good luck keeping healthy and warm this winter.
If your body is fighting a nasty bug, taking Tylenol will not help – in fact it will have the opposite effect. When your white blood cells are fighting something nasty, you tend to get a fever. The fever will kill off the nasties. By preventing your body from getting the fever, you are not helping it fight those bugs.
However, if you feel cruddy – take the Tylenol! It will at least mask the symptoms so you can get on with the day.
/school teacher. Loves her Tylenol.
