Google Reader

Lytton Rocks

I’m so happy!! Well for now anyway. I just spent a bit of time learning and using iGoogle and Google Reader again. So far, I’m loving it.

For the longest time I’d read blogs by going through my sidebar off my blog here, but now I can use this new Google Reader feature (new to me, because I don’t remember seeing it last time).

It’s a “NEXT>>” button that you can drag and drop into your FIREFOX MOZILLA bookmark toolbar. And a “SUBSCRIBE…” one too!! These makes subscribing and flipping through recent posts a breeze! I can actually view your posts the way they ought to be viewed too, with seeing your design. Before, when using Google Reader, I’d get so frustrated reading your posts in the Reader. I felt I was missing out on all the art/color/design of your blog (well some of your blogs anyway) And well. Now I am just loving these *new* bookmark toolbar buttons!!!!

I’m curious though who all knows about them and therefore uses them. Do you?

and I’m sure there’s an even better way to use Google Reader and iGoogle (which is now my homepage) in Google Chrome and perhaps even in the new Google Operating System, but I just have not ventured out that far yet to get “use to” using Chrome.

I guess I still am in love with the Fox, the Firefox also known as Mozilla. ppfff :P

I’m curious though do you use Google Reader with Firefox or with Chrome? Do you use the Google Reader ‘next>’ button in your toolbar to flip through your subscriptions? What do you absolutely love and hate about it??

I am a google loooovver. igoogle is my homepage as well. I also use blogger, gmail, google analytics (stats), feedburner, godaddy (domain), and they are ALL through google. It’s nice to have it all in one place. I haven’t ventured into google chrome. don’t think I will…

I didn’t know about the next thing where u can see the blogs layout – but honestly I don’t want to see everyones lay out. I read close to 100 blogs and There are some blogs I read that I don’t comment on (becuase I know i’ll never get a comment back, or there is horrible music playing on their site) I just read them all in my reader – and click on the blog when I feel the need to comment!

I do have the subscribe button in my toolbar :-)

Glad you found something that works for you!!

i use reader and the subscribe button but not the next button. i don’t mind reading in reader and then just going to the blogs i want to comment on. i don’t even know what google chrome is … :)

I love Google reader because I can tell when someone has updated without going to their blog, however I then go to the blog to see it and to comment. I can’t find a next button. I’ll have to look at igoogle – have never heard of that.

igoogle is my home page – love it! I have to admit I’m a firefox girl too.

I don’t know anything about Google Reader so I’m off to check it out now!

Thanks for the heads up! ;-)

I think I have the google reader, but I don’t use it. I have done the follower thing to keep track of some blogs, but not all of the ones I should. I just added the follower link to mine, but I am not sure anyone noticed it over there on the sidebar.
