Sausage down the shirt?
31st July, 2006I just received an email from my Auntie Marlene, updating me as to what we missed yesterday. You see we were to go up to Kelowna for a family BBQ before we went to Princeton, but since my husband’s project he’s working on right now is huge and I was so very tired of travelling we did not go and we therefore, cut our trip down by probably at least an hour. But I thought it’s too bad we didn’t go because we missed a whole lot of good stuff. Here’s some of the things my aunt said I missed: "The food was good and we had a good visit. Some funny highlights were during supper when the wind blew a piece of Aunt Bev’s farmer sausage down my top and I thought it was a butterfly and screamed, Grandpa trying to learn from Riley(cousin) how to do ‘Poi", Barry(uncle) accidentally bumping Grandma’s hand while she was trying to pass me a bowl of Japanese Plums, which flew all over the kitchen, and listening to Kevin’s(cousin) CBC Radio interview on poetry from a few weeks ago." So there you have it, we missed a whole lot of fun times.
