Caching in Hope BC Canada
30th March, 2009Ok so since many of you liked yesterday’s photos, I decided to try it again and share the ones from today with you. All these photos are raw, untouched. Straight from the camera! Except for my watermark…

It was another sunny Sunday! Although, we did wake up to discover our Tercel STOLEN! Good thing we have the van that friends gave us for free a few months ago!!

Later on that day, while we were getting ready to cache out in Bridal Falls we watched this hanglider land! After he landed we asked if he wanted any of the photos I took, he said yes and left his email address with me. And then he asked if we could give him a ride to his friends, since he landed of course. His glider pack filled up an entire bench seat in our van!! We brought him to his friends and they said,"aw I see you picked him up!" I said, "YEAH He just fell from the sky!" They laughed. After that, we went out to cache…

DNF’d on this one! Too much green I think. AND we didn’t know what kind of container we were looking for, plus there were no hints.

These cows found the decoy, and were mesmerized by it’s dog-gone beauty that they didn’t even notice…

This cow geocaching. We did though! lol

Next we went to find an Earth Cache in Hope BC.

We learned what Marl was here!

It looks like this (above)

Next we took this trail to find some Marl.

It didn’t loop that much :o)

Here we are in our new matching hiking boots. I wish my were not so painful though :o( I can not wear them and hope to exchange them soon!!

Besides finding what we believe to be the earth cache we also saw a cute little bird house.

The sun was starting to set and we had one more cache planned for the evening…

This isn’t it!

It’s dark now, but we’re here! Now where is it?

Can you see where it might be? (this was taken with the use of a couple flashlights!) Hmmm. Well you’ll just have to come down here and see if you’re right now won’t you?!?!? We found this one too!
On the other side of this wall is where a road "use to be" now it’s a small lake! The lake’s water wraps around this wall !!!

Then we hurried back for our friend‘s concert where we bought his two newest cds!

The funny thing is, I was SO tired that I forgot to completely swap my shoes, so I went into the concert wearing one hiking boot and one runner!!!
