Rice Balls
30th July, 2008Well today was rather a boring day as I basically just worked hard in the house doing the same ol’ same ol’ of laundry and dishes. Jeff was at the office and Yuri was at school. Tomorrow, Yuri is gone practically all day as she goes sightseeing and shopping with her class in Vancouver. She gets back around 7pm. I packed her a lunch of "rice balls-I made THANK-YOU Rika for showing me how!", a cheestring, yogurt, and a cookie. Yuri helped me by letting me know what she wanted in her lunch. And I put that all in a regular shopping bag so she wouldn’t have to worry about carrying the heavy-duty lunch bag around with her the whole day. This evening we all watched a lot of recorded shows some of which included "I survived a Japanese Game Show", "Wipeout", "Top Chef", and after Yuri went to bed Jeff and I watched "The Brave One" movie. Have you seen it? We rather enjoyed it. It was a bit slow, and did have it’s scary moments, but it was NOT as frightening as the movie we saw yesterday, that one was: "The Eye". Have you seen that one? Ok I got to go to bed now, as I am rather exhausted tonight.
Goodnight all,
Sounds like your Japanese students are an adventure … I know looking back you will value the experience and who knows what it may lead to!
No, I have not seen The Eye or The Brave One… I am not much for movies.. except old ones. And I don’t like scarey movies. smile
I wish you a wonderful week !!
