She LOVES to cuddle!!

IMG02935And here she is with her favourite toy…it was a gift to our cats from a Japanese student we had stay with us a couple years ago. Originally it was a white furry lollipop type looking toy! The cats have since ripped the stick part off so now it’s only the lolli. It’s hard to see it amongst her fur but you can.

I sprinkle cat nip into the cats toy box regularly and I’m positive Panda thinks she’s a cat, because she’s scared of others and especially dogs while out on walks. She reminds me of Nacho, when I put him on a leash as a kitten!! hehe And here I’ve discovered she loves cat toys! What a girl.

I’m hoping to introduce her to more family and friend’s dogs so that she gets to know that she is ACTUALLY a dog and not a cat.

Today, while walking back from our walk, a LARGE dog jumped up on me. I was holding Panda, because she stiffens and shakes uncontrollably at the sight of them. The dog picking up on her fear charged at us! Standing on his back paws he was taller than me, but I’m sturdy and was able to keep turning enough so that he couldn’t bite Panda’s or my head off. I’m just glad it’s owner was there to pull her dog off us or else who knows what could have happened. I was even trying Cesar Milan’s technique of tapping the dog between the ribs and hind leg-like you would a horse- in hope of him feeling a  pretend bite, but THAT didn’t stop this aggressive dog. He was on a mission!

I’m just glad we got back to the vehicle safely and all in one piece.

Sorry for no Corner View this week…

I’ve been so busy… walking mostly and tired from all the exercise and giving attention two three needy babies while at home.

tired,

Demara

I just find it amazing that the dog owner wouldn’t prevent that from happening in the first place. You sound happy and busy.

Glad you and Panda are ok!

I, too, am surprised the dog owner didn’t stop the dog in the first place. Glad everything came out alright and that you are enjoying her so much.
