My Face 1980-2007

Sassy over at eye heart internet created a meme called “the face of infertility” and I thought it would be exciting to join in the fun.

I created a photo album of my pics representing my face/body from 2006-2009 Because that’s all the years I have pictures of.

The reason I placed the photos into an album is because too many photos on a post here, slows the loading of my site down. Therefore, my blog runs faster and you viewing the images works a lot better. This way I can continue to add photos to ‘the album post’ later on down the road too. There were a couple photos in particular I was looking for but couldn’t find. So when I do I hope to add them. But for now there are a few up there for you to see.

Be sure to check out the captions I put under each photo. That’s the ‘real’ post!

As you will see we are just ‘touching’ the surface of this issue in our life. And from what we can ’see’ it IS very difficult to deal with, but we’re managing. I think.

Can you manage? though.

Is it too soon to say that we have issues?

Some of you may think so.

I don’t know. All I know is that we are TTC and it’s taking longer than expected and THIS is frustrating

So I write about it.

and in our life…

There is tension.
There is stress.
There is love.
There are distractions.
Oh how there are distractions.

We rely on those distractions to get us by everyday. at least I do
oh and of course there is hope.
One can hope and dream and hope and dream some more but for how long though right?

What does that someone do when the hopes and dreams are gone?
and they are faced only with the realization that there is no hope no dreams?
only nightmares? and trying to make a new existence for oneself?
Then what happens?

What does ‘life’ become then?

I wait with anticipation and see!!!

p.s. I go see the Doctor soon, can’t wait to hear what he’ll say :/ to me about ’stuff’. Stuff I’m dealing with…

I love the photo collage. You were a beautiful baby and I can totally see that it’s you! I’ll be interested in what the Dr says too and am praying for you.

Ok, I’m slow, I finally figured out how to see your photos!!

It is amazing how powerful this all becomes when we have a face to see into, I think we are able to read things that cannot be written on words only then.

Thank you so much for participating. ((hugs))

Infertility is such an unfair journey. Prayers for you and Jeff as you search for answers.
