Journal Entry 2 : A Better Day
Thank-you for helping me lose the 61 pounds so far. I pray that I can help Jeff with his weight loss now too! And I’m so glad that people ask me how I did it. And now I hear they are telling all their friends. And not only that but they’re asking me for all the information.
Thank-you Jesus for my Accountability Partner who had the GI Diet idea in the first place, and that she could tell me about it!
I can’t believe how sore I am today. I definitely worked muscles I forgot I had. I used an eliptical machine, a bike, a track, and a gym. And this all Jeff and I did indoors!! together! And it was the most fun I’ve had in a while. Now, I can’t wait till the weather is nice, so that we can go on that hike.
Please forgive me Jesus for eating that Raspberry White Chocolate Cheesecake yesterday. It was so delicious! But I know now I am paying the price with my health. Please protect me from the Evil One and give us today our "daily bread", those "things that are healthy and especially a necessity to our souls". Amen!

Demara you’re doing so well with your weight loss you’ve inspired me to kick-start my diet (again)! I lost about 30 pounds but I got lazy over winter so I think it’s time to get my trainers on again!
Keep up the good work - and I would have been tempted by a raspberry white chocolate cheesecake too!

I am going to have to revert indoors this week too much, I fear, since the weather round my parts promise to be rainy. Bike riding is not so good when you bike gets all rustified.
Be strong! The holidays are upon us and we all know that means sweets abounding! I find that cutting out certain things and working out more makes up for that piece of pumpkin pie. I don’t know how that would work on your GI diet though.
